BLOW MOLDING SPECIALIST

Responsibilities

» Pm’s and work orders
» Safely and proactively operate, troubleshoot, and optimize blow molding machines
» Support unscheduled downtime on production lines
» Monitor and adjust bottle processes to optimize bottle quality and correct defects, including the completion of hourly quality checks
» Execute preform and bottle changeovers
» Help in the maintenance shop rebuilding components
» Assist with equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and rebuilds as needed
» Responsible for daily communication among his counterparts on his shift, as well as the oncoming shift

Requirements

» 3+ years of work experience operating blow molding equipment, troubleshooting blow mold components (i.e. t-arm, spindle, blowing valves), and processing experience is needed
» Solid computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
» Effective communication of issues and solutions to cross-functional team members
» Experience in high-speed manufacturing, bottling, beverage, packaging, or plastics industries
» Solid problem solving and decision-making skills
» Must be able and willing to work 10-hour shifts
